Meme token platform MakeNowMeme has had its account banned

Recall that the MakeNowMeme infrastructure allows you to launch memcoins without much difficulty. A user only needs to publish a message with the ticker of the asset, its brief description and a picture. This is enough to launch a Solana-based memcoin.

The platform uses a mechanism similar to the Pump.fun meme coin generator on Solana. When the volume of purchases reaches a certain amount, the platform transfers the activity of the coin to the decentralized exchange Raydium, and then burns it.

What is the reason for the account lockout? According to Adam Cochran, managing partner of the Cinneamhain Ventures fund, most of the memcoins launched through the Pump.fun platform are not highly liquid, and the X administration decided that memcoins have no value on this platform as well, so they blocked the account.

It's good that they managed to unblock it, but for now you can't create new memcoins.
