Tokenization to $16 Trillion by 2030

Herman Gref forecasts that the global tokenized market will reach a valuation of $16 trillion by 2030, with investments in this sector only growing. He emphasized that, thanks to government legislative initiatives, digital financial assets (DFAs) will become popular in Russia as well.

In the first nine months of this year, the volume of issued DFAs reached 316 billion rubles, far exceeding the forecast of 125 billion rubles. However, the secondary market remains small, with trading volumes around 3 billion rubles due to low liquidity.

Gref also suggested easing blockchain regulation and considering the opinions of entrepreneurs.
